Permaculture Farm Tour Plus Natural Horse Demo!

Greenshire Eco Farms Events run 10 am-noon and again at 1-3 pm. Garden tours and natural horsemanship/FEEL demos will run concurrently within both time slots.

FOREST GARDEN TOUR

Come for a guided walk around our forest gardens. You will learn about:

• - Hugelkultur (composting large woody material to create a raised garden bed) -
• Sheet Mulching (layering organic materials over undisturbed ground for plant cultivation) -
• Shiitake Mushroom log production -
• Permaculture farming (companion planting, organic pest management, chicken tractor, composting-in-place, etc.)

NATURAL HORSEMANSHIP DEMONSTRATION and FACILITATED EQUINE EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING (FEEL):

non-riding activities where the horse teaches the person emotional agility, leadership & intuitive skills, boundary setting/ respecting, self-confidence, more. Learn how & why it works.
